Changes to Notification Emails (of unread messages)

    Our site sends notification emails to members when they have unread messages. Each notification email includes an unsubscribe link and members can also manage their email preferences from the My Account page.

    Previously, if several messages were received in the same day, multiple notification emails could be sent.

    To reduce unnecessary emails, we have made a small change: if a member has not been recently active on the site, notification emails will now generally be limited to one at a time.

    This notification limit will reset twice per week.

    Unless a member is regularly checking their lists of received smiles and contact requests, the most reliable way to communicate is by written messages.
