I have to post this because I’m just flabbergasted. I joined a couple of those “Are we dating the same guy” Facebook groups because you really don’t know who’s out there these days. Anyway, one of their offshoot groups is called “vouch for guys” (something like that). You can post pics and info about guys you know are good people and if you’re interested in that person, you contact the poster and it goes from there. You can also post a little blurb about yourself hoping that maybe one of the ladies in the group will know somebody who might like you or be interested in talking to you. So today, I posted a couple of photos of myself asking if anyone knew of any unvaccinated men in my area. Well, ………you’d think I had tortured a kitten with the responses that I got. I could not believe it. And then the admin deleted my post. All because I asked if anybody knew any unvaccinated men.

Mainstream social media is a useful tool. It costs a fortune to run and maintain. If you are getting something for free, then you are the product. Why would billionaires give you free stuff?

I can’t argue with that!! So disheartening though. I didn’t ask those women for their opinions on my choices yet they felt the need to tear me to shreds lol. They are all insane.

I have returned to Facebook after a gap of a few years, and to be honest, I absolutely hate it! I created an account yesterday, and today I received “restrictions” on my account, which will last until 15th December. My “crime”, was for posting a short innocuous reply. Apparently, they accused me of: “The account, or activity on it, may take actions at high volume that might bother others.” In other words “spam”. I have been researching other alternatives to “Fakebook”, early days yet but I might find something better.

Facebook had disabled my account earlier this year. I had just gotted access to it again after not being on for several years. Wasn’t on very long, maybe a couple months or so, when they disabled it without any warning. Said I broke terms of service. And yet did not state what rule I went against or what I shared or commented which they took issue with. They said I could appeal, and then I could not appeal. They wanted me to give them my ID, without even a promise of an appeal after that. Screw that. I think it was because of some comments on vaccines, which were in a conversation on a post and the others were not punished, because I knew the one person. And, or, comments about that one place you aren’t allowed to speak against. The same people don’t want us speaking negatively of either thing. To my surprise, instagram which is also owned by meta, they are not seeming to censor much at all. Lots of people talking about all injections, and also that one country you best not speak against lol. Sometimes they will hide certain comments, but you can just hit “unhide” and then you or others can see it. So they don’t delete it. Sometimes people with a lot of influence talking about certain topics will get deleted, but they can make another account. On facebook it is basically impossible to make another account, because they want id now and once they identify you and want you gone, that’s it. I am amazed at what information I am coming across on instagram though, it’s pretty great actually. Never been big into social media and posting stuff though. Just for finding and learning things.
