It is still worth contacting members even if they have not logged into this site for several months, because a notification email is sent to their registered address every time they have an unread message here. Every notification email we sent out has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Notification emails can be turned off by checking “No emails from this site” found on the My Account page. The only email we send out without an unsubscribe link is the introductory email we send to members immediately after registration.
Large providers of free email addresses may move emails into the Junk folder more than they should. The criteria could be anything such as a spammer used an IP address in the past before it passed to a legitimate user.
In the near future we will be entirely changing all the infrastructure we use to send out notification emails. It is always a good idea to check your Junk and Bulk email folders.
If you have a Microsoft account, go to Mail Settings->Junk email->Senders->Safe Senders and Domains and add the domains nojabs.me and unjabbed.net and nojabs.me to the safelist. You can help us by always clicking “Not Junk” on the emails we send.
