In the past week, I noticed people using disposable email addresses when registering with this site.
These email addresses are temporary ones and only last for ten minutes. Their only purpose is to receive activation codes sent by some sites to verify the email address is genuine.
My issue with these types of email addresses is when a member has unread messages here, we send out an email notification to him or her. If the person does not log-into this website regularly to check messages, they will be missed.
We do not like to send out too many emails and so if the person is no longer active on this website, we only send out a maximum of one notification email.
All our notification emails have an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking this link will stop all further emails from this website. Clicking the unsubscribe link will not delete your account here.
You can stop getting emails from this site by going to Meet People->My Account, scrolling down the web page and clicking No email from this site. Then click Save.
Summary: There is no reason to use disposable email addresses with us. We don’t spam. You can turn off our notification emails at any time. If another member of this website sends a message to you in a few months’ time, you may miss it if you provide a fake or disposable email address.
You can change the email address you used to register with this website by using any one of the two web pages below.

Obviously replace YOUR-USERNAME-HERE by your username.
