For the past few months we have been advertising our website on Twitter (X.com) to bring new people to our website.
We target Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, the UK and the USA. We would like to advertise in Spain and Portugal, but for some unknown reason our site never took off in those countries. There is a tendency for people to delete their accounts quickly unless they see lots of other people from their country and so we don’t want to waste what money we have for advertising.
To try to avoid our adverts showing to people who took covid vaccines, we specify our adverts should only be shown to those following accounts talking about the plandemic, natural health, vaccine adverse events, the World Economic Forum, the World Health Organization and other associated topics.
Usually we have a daily budget set at $1 USD per country.
Yesterday we increased the daily budget to $10 per country.
It made a noticeable difference. For certain countries we saw several new men register with our website in one day, whereas before we struggled to even get one. Denmark was utterly refractory to our adverts yesterday!
Mostly new men registered with our website, rather than women. To try to correct this imbalance we have switched to only showing our adverts to women on X.com rather than both sexes. Currently the male:female ratio on our site is 1.7:1.
Our adverts will only run until the end of today. We can’t afford a daily budget of $10 per country all the time.
At the time of writing, our prices are over twelve times cheaper than comparable websites in our genre. The vast majority of members here do not pay for a subscription and so our funds for further advertising are limited. Our website was free to use from March 2023 to July 2024. Replying to messages sent to you by other members is still free, along with creating an account here and searching for other members by country, region (province or state) and city.

I for one appreciate that and understand that you do understand the pros and cons. It’s a good community service. I did notice that most people don’t pay. The social stigmas have not been removed for many of us to be free to let everyone know that we are so certain of our stance on this. So the same problem that causes the need for this website also causes a need for privacy. But I’ll think about ways to help with free marketing and maybe have some suggestions that I will message through the system to you. There may be other web techs willing to volunteer time or internet real estate to contribute to the movement here!🌹 Thank you so much for what you do ‼️

If we didn’t pay for online advertising we would never achieved hundreds of members in places like Canada, the Netherlands, Sweden and Germany. We would have ended up with 20 people per country and most people would delete their accounts within days because they didn’t find enough people in their country. Unfortunately paying for online advertising means we in turn have to ask members to contribute.
When we were a free website, we received complaints from members were weren’t paying for online advertising on major social media and news websites. Now we require a payment, we get complaints we aren’t free.
Unfortunately it is impossible to be a free and independent website, unless you are wealthy. We tried it from March 2023 to July 2024. We were a small site and so the problems we experienced were small, but we did see them.
1) On a free website anybody can create an account and send messages to anybody else anytime. This means you will get people joining just to advertise their dating site, personal training business etc. You will also get the rare person who wants to spam everyone on the whole website and his/her profile has a description of a business.
2) Men will send messages and smiles to women across the other side of the world to themselves. The women will complain to us they are getting too many messages from men too far away to realistically have a relationship with. They will then delete their accounts. Effectively one country can wreck the website for another country. Even to date, we get some men complaining to us having thirty people in their city isn’t enough to be worth joining! The take-home point is that some men will happily message women thousands of miles away if the site is free, but as soon as a small payment is required they need 100 women in their city to choose from.
The above means it is possible to be a free website for a certain period of time, but as soon as you become better known there has to be a barrier to make people think if the website is right for them first.
It is quite possible to use this site and protect your privacy. If you are a paying member you have access to a private gallery, where your photos are only shown to people you approve first by clicking the “My Gallery” button at the bottom of their profile. Note, I said their profile here, not your profile.
Alternatively just upload a photo of yourself wearing a hat and sunglasses. Or don’t upload a photo of yourself at all. Just ones of flowers, trees and streets in your city will do. Even if you just upload a photo of the front page of a local newspaper at least it will prove you are from the location you say you are.
Logically the cheapest way to meet local people is to download, print out and display our adverts on public noticeboards in local cafes and grocery stores. It is slow and inefficient, but it can work. If you are so inclined, pay for membership here or donate money to us, which we can then put towards online advertising. The former is preferable as any new members will be near to you and so you will get the benefit of your own efforts. Unfortunately the logical route is not followed, because people want everything to be online and hassle-free.
A lot of people don’t fill in their headlines and descriptions. Perhaps they are using smartphones and forget to scroll down on the “Meet People->Edit My Profile/Photos” page before they see the relevant text fields. A new member could register from their city in a few months’ time and a sea of blank profiles is not conducive to making contact.
